FISH AND OIL:

HYDROCARBONS EXTRACTION AND
FISHING IN THE PALESTINIAN SEA

2025 Film

Part of Art Omi 2025 Architecture Residency

The short film follows the testimonies of Gaza fishers, specializing their journey on the cartographic space of hydrocarbon extraction and offshore surveys. Through digital renderings, collected sounds, GIS mapping, and reenacted testimonies, the film tells the story of two seas: one as a resource awaiting extraction and the other as a way of living.
